RADIX SENIORS ARCHIVE 2005

World Youth Day 2005 in Cologne
We were there! An event that was packed with both the young and the young at heart from all over the World. The Faida group was made up of 35 high school girls and 7 mentors. This was the first homecoming for the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI after being elected Pope. It was a marvellous experience - being with the Pope- that was punctauted by a stop over in Egypt to see the famous pyramids.

Social Work Project in St. Catherine School, Mukuru
(30th November - 10th December )
It was an experience to die for! We, the senior Club members went to bring a little Christmas cheer to Mukuru slum. We taught the girls music and dance and in 4 days staged a Christmas concert. It was gratifying for us to share with them some of our knowledge and for them to discover in themselves talent for music and dance. One of our own said, "Ooh! The mood of the children was brilliant!!!"
