Faida, established in 1977, is a project of Kianda Foundation . It runs Youth Programmes for primary and high school girls between the ages of 9 and 20.
Teenage and adulthood come with many challenges, and Faida, through its activities, aims at preparing girls to face them. These activities include: character building sessions, courses on study techniques, cultural activities, as well as spiritual support.
The Centre has ample study facilities. Guided study and tutorials are available under the supervision of members of staff. They are assisted by senior club members who are encouraged in this way to take responsibility for their juniors, who in turn find role models in them. This networking benefits all.
Faida Centre is situated at House no.7 on Kabarsiran Avenue, Off Waiyaki Way, a few metres from Kianda School.
The doctrinal formation given at Faida Centre is entrusted to Opus Dei , a personal prelature of the Catholic Church
