Study Program

Faida’s RADIX STUDY PROGRAM is designed to offer an enabling environment for gaining good academic performance.
Radix is Latin for Root
The program is organised in such a way that top priority is given to homework and personal study on weekdays and Saturdays, under the supervision of staff in the Centre and mentors.

The study rooms are open to members on weekdays from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm and on Saturdays from 9.00 am to 6.30 pm.

Personality Development Sessions (PDS) and cultural activities are included with the aim of helping the girls cultivate positive values and develop an all-round personality. Through academic tasks/assignments and other activities, Radix gives the girls a value system which will enable them to impact society positively.

To suit the specific needs of our members, the Radix Study Program is divided into three Clubs:

RADIX JUNIOR:

Designed for Standard 4 to 6 (Age 9 - 12)

Fridays are dedicated to cultural activities such as Dance Club and Writers Club.The PDS are on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 4.00 pm.

RADIX RADIUS:

Designed for Standard 7 & 8 (Age 13 & 14)

Friday is set aside as a cultural day where the Radix Radius get a chance to be exposed to the world and its treasures. The program includes PDS (Personality Development Sessions) on Mondays.

RADIX SENIOR:

Designed for Form 1 - 4 (Age 15 - 18)

This program include several study marathons and Grade Savers; hours of intense study and sleep-overs organized over the weekends and holidays.

These are aimed at improving the girls academic performance.
The members of Radix Senior are given first priority in all Club activities.

On Fridays and Saturdays, the program includes character and cultural enhancement sessions and a talk by Faida’s Chaplain.

Other activities organized for Club members include monthly excursions and social work.
